negativityI sat in the dark gazing intently at the designs my eyes created in the void. Dull neon bars and dots floated in front of irises so unfocused they couldn’t see. He’s gone, whispered a voice so quiet, so afraid, I could barely understand it. You’re free, you don’t have to worry anymore, I heard it float from ear to ear as it serenaded a calloused mind. I looked down at my hands, the flashing white lines stood out in stark comparison against the dark, night skin. Up became down, down became up, and I didn’t even know what happened. I heard the phone ringing an hour anegativity
